Personalized Online Coaching & Consultations
Who am I?
My name is Kevin Warsaw. I've been a personal trainer certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2019. In the time since, I've also obtained further specializations in both behavioral change and nutrition coaching (NASM-CNC, BCS). While credentials are nice and all, they don't paint much of a picture, so let me elaborate...
A Journey To Fitness
This lifestyle did not come easily to me.
Often times, the path to working in the fitness industry has a pipeline resembling something like: good genetics, examples of health to model habits after from a young age, youth sports, education, first training job. While those who entered the profession in this manner have value to provide, there is an ocean of disconnect between their lived experience and the myriad of challenges that will arise in their clients attempts to make positive changes.
Growing up I had severe asthma that could be triggered by exercise. I also had some difficult years early on that led me to overeat food as comfort. Barely any of my friends or family had athletic backgrounds or interests. In all but a couple years before my mid-20s, I had a BMI that classified me as obese, and in most of those years I was trying not to be. I know the fight, and the struggle you're going through. If there was a pitfall, I fell into it, if there was a fad I tried it. The day it all began to fall into place was when I stopped looking for tricks or that one easy change, and began focusing on proven fundamentals.
Let the lessons I learned over the course of not only my personal training career but also my life help you find a sustainable path to lasting health and fitness.
